Recommended Care: Hand Wash

For the best care of your Bryn Lavinia Designs costume, we recommend gentle hand washing.

  1. Use a mild detergent in lukewarm water below 104°F(40°C).
  2. Gently soak for 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean, cool water.
  3. Handle with care. Do not scrub, wring, or twist the costume, as this may damage delicate fabrics, embroidery, sequins, or embellishments.
  4. Never use bleach.

If Machine Washing Is Necessary

While hand washing is preferred, a machine wash may be used when necessary.

  1. Place the costume inside a laundry bag to help protect delicate embellishments.
  2. Select a quick, cold-water cycle only.
  3. Never tumble dry. Heat can cause shrinking, warping, or damage to delicate fabrics and decorative details.
