Returns, Exchanges & Quality Care
At Bryn Lavinia Designs, we pour heart and intention into every piece we create. We understand how meaningful your bases are, and we want your experience with us to feel thoughtful, fair, and transparent.
Standard Exchange Guidelines
We’re happy to offer exchanges or store credit returns on all bases within 7 days of delivery, as long as the item meets the guidelines below. Returns are issued as store credit only. Clients are responsible for return shipping and a restocking fee to support the careful inspection and preparation of exchanged pieces.
- Is unworn and unwashed
- Is free from makeup, deodorant marks, odors, or signs of use
- Is returned in its original condition
Please try on items over clean, dry undergarments to help ensure eligibility for an exchange. Items that do not meet our hygiene and condition standards will not be eligible for return or exchange.
Note: While we love accommodating our customers with exchanges, our ability to accept them depends on the garment being returned fresh and unused as this protects all dancers and keeps our collections in performance-ready condition
Quality Promise & Exceptional Care
Our bases are designed to move with your body and we design each piece with care. Should a garment have a clear issue with quality please reach out, so we can review with you.
If a quality concern is verified, we’ll work with you to make it right, whether that’s through repair, exchange, or return.
What’s Not Eligible
To preserve the boutique nature of our designs and respect the investment in custom craftsmanship:
- All custom orders, ready-to-ship costumes and embellishing kits are FINAL Sale - they cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Base Boutique bases that have been worn, washed, or show signs of use cannot be accepted.
- Garments altered or embellished after delivery are not eligible for exchange or quality review.
- Damage resulting from misuse, improper care, or normal wear and tear (e.g., fading, torn mesh/lace due to excessive material stretch, stretched out elastic) is not covered.
This means that while we welcome exchanges for new, unused items- undesired fit or issues after being danced in or embellished do not qualify as a condition for return.
